Wellville prayer:
Dear Lord of all creation, we thank you for this earth that you have given us as a gift.  The beauty and wonders of this home leave us speechless and yet with a deep sense of Your Divine Presence.  How can we express our gratitude for the days we get to spend looking at the sun through the trees; floating in a canoe and dangling our hand over the side, feeling the silky coolness of the water; hearing the song of the loon; or watching the tail of a shooting star streaking overhead against the blackness of night?  How can we give enough thanks for clouds, for sunsets, for mountains, for lakes, for rivers, and wild animals?  There are not enough words.

And so, as we gather here tonight, give us the wisdom we need to take care of this part of creation you have entrusted us, in Jesus' name.  Amen
